Viral Campaigns

Viral campaigns are so called because they spread like a virus. Come up with an interesting marketing message, execute it well and it promotes itself.

On average each person that sees a well executed campaign will send it to 10 other people. If these people do the same it only takes five rounds of "pass it on" from these original people for 1 million people to see your message. The power of viral marketing is insane!

A good example of viral campaign that was created for Teleflorist, the UKs largest flower relay network, to highlight the company's dedication to quality. The Campaign For Real Floristry (watch the video here) was a successful viral campaign that spread quickly upon launch and made national press for the execution which was based on the American Beauty Oscar winning film.

If you have an idea that you would like to turn into a viral campaign or if you would like to create something which could spread your brand virally then Webfaced can help. It doesn't need to be a video but it does have to be "shareable". Games, campaign microsites, videos and photos all have the ability to be shared; the key is getting the idea right.
